About Blind School

“The Patashibai Ratanchand  Manav Kalyan Trust” is also being able to help blind children since 1986. The intention of this trust is to make blind children self employed and bring happiness in their lives.

School Speciality

There are some educational programmes in Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Vidyalaya where these students can learn with normal students.

Free Facilities

These students can avail free facilities like food, accommodation, school uniform and stationary.

Personal Guidance

Every class has 1 to 8 students only and they get personal guidance and directions by best counsellors & teachers.

Professional Staff

Our highly professional staff teaches students braille script and provides them with free books of braille script.

E - Learning

There are advanced learning facilities like e-learning facility, talking robot, low vision education, cassettes, Cd’s, and many other things.

Educational Trips
Various educational trips and visits are conducted for our students.
Yoga & Exercise
For a healthy and disease free life of a student we conduct different types of exercises and yoga classes on a daily basis.
Daily Prayer
In morning time we do Ramraksha stotra, Bhaktamer stotra, Navkar chanting etc.

Skill Building

We build skills of our students by teaching them how to make different types of baskets, rakhis, sky lamps, candles etc.

Extra Curricular

We also provide education in dance, drama, singing, classical dance etc.

Sports

We also provide sport facilities like cricket, sidings, dumbbell, chess and prepare our students for competitions.

Basic Facility

A nicely decorated living hall, dining hall and a clean kitchen.

Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks and Dinner including milk and all types fruits.

For entertainment purpose Television set is provided.

Individual Things

For every single student a separate cot, blanket, pillow and mattress is given.

State level and District level achievements of students in different sports such as Cricket, Chess, Arts, Computer and Low vision competition.
Honour for Research
One of the student, Sandeep Oval, got the honour from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalaam for Research on Environment.
1st Price in Bansuri Vadan
Datta Kaldoke, an alumni of this school won 1st price in Bansuri Vadan State level competition in Rajasthan
